Full Name: The United Republic of Gensokyo and Fandom-Providence States

The Republic of Gensokyo is an Industrial Democracy located at in an unknown region in Gensokyo, supposedly the southeastern part and also controls New Gamindustri outside the border after accepting a Political Union proposal by the four Goddesses that lead the Nations there. It was founded by an informal alliance by the World Conference and another nearby power, New Alternia, in 2034, a year after the Touhou-NATO War (2028-2033) ended after claiming the lives of millions. Some say that the Republic is the last remaining Democratic Stronghold in the Asia-Pacific region in postwar times. Its main enemy is the Touhou Imperial Gensokyo to the North. They also have strained relationships with Wagonia, in which they constantly have a dispute over the region previously known as Osaka and the Forest of Magic, both of which lies directly on the borders of the two States.

This is something that I may be doing for NaNoWriMo 2016. To put it short, in a post-apocalyptic Earth, the World we know it is no more and is replaced by countless of other Nation-States, some by Ethnicity some by the grip of Tyrannical bastards who stockpile a wide range of resources.

The story would be told in the First person POV of a Sergeant in the Republican Military and follows the eventual downfall of the "Touhou Alliance" (or simply "The Terrorists" in the eyes of the Republic's Citizens).

The story is based on various works, specifically those with Political Symbolism such as Heart of Darkness, 1984, Hunger Games, Battle Royale, amongst others. It is even inspired by Papers Please. If you enjoy any of the following, then you may enjoy this (or not).

This story is an overall crossover fiction, but it will contain various tropes and symbols you may see in other Political literature. In fact, I challenge you to see anything that is happening in the story that relates to real life political issues, because that is what this story is basically about.
