Can I be a little bit nosy and ask which? It looks like you use some low opacity ones, but my stuff always comes out really smooth...

sure, and not really, for skin I paint everything with the basic round hard edges brush, opacity and flow 100%, and shape and transfer( brush presets) set to pen pressure.
At the end I add a little bit of texture, with the brush that is like many dots, it´s number 46 or 59. Also, at the moment, I´m using hannes brushes, here [link] , they are very cool, for textures. But for skin is the same, the same round brush, hard edges.

This piece has to be might favourite from you, I love this piece to death. Mostly just because how you created what you created without reading anything deeper into the picture. Her skin is flawlessly human, while retaining your individuality with your artwork, I think the balance is well painted between the two and it uses human features well with various hues and values. That is mainly about the face but her hand also has most of those great points about it, that are structure really well, I'm sure it had a great sketch/linework to it because it formed really well.
Her clothing has a immediate plus for the colours used, especially with the background colours they way they are. The texture on her clothing is great, I can almost feel the material on the tips of my fingers instead of these keys. The back-lighting doesn't take away from the texture but adds something to it, you have a great ability to do that by the way, I wonder if that is more artistic talent you worked or a natural artistic feeling you developed.
Her eyes are incredibly well made, not just the eyes but the eyelids, eyebrows and eyelashes. I really like the use of colour around her eyelids even though I stated it above about the skin. Her Iris reminds me of your Husky piece so it's instantly gives me a animal like feel from them, but I guess by the artist comments and the blood it could be a safe assumption to make.
Finally her hair, yes I keep coming back to how much I like the way you draw, colour, paint, shade, render, flow, etc... hair but this is another great example of that. This hair has more a natural volume to it, which works well considering she doesn't seem to have a lot or any make up her not including her lips. The painting is beautiful, the sweeping curves of her hair are beautiful to me, the fact that it's short and you have less to work with makes it more outstanding. I guess that's because of the attention to detail you used and the impact it has with the feel of long hair with shorter hair. The back-lighting comes into play so well with the again, it makes the hair's colours more vibrantly dark to my eyes.
I highly enjoyed studying it, trying to notice all the little touch you have added everywhere. The clip would be the best little touch for me, although not as little as the freckles but definitely has puts me in awe more than the blood.
I seriously enjoyed going through your gallery, I was extremely lucky to find out about your artwork, to miss so many great pieces like that you made would be a travesty. I am glad I will get to see more artwork from you and hope that even a smudge of your hard work and artistic talent rubs off on me, because you Ms are a huge talent.

Gorgeous work! I especially love her crystal-blue eyes in comparison to the rest of the picture which is very dark :3
