I am a mormon, I am also LGBT with a same sex companion. The church has stated "there is nothing wrong with being gay. (Although I am pansexual and not gay.) But you get my point. The true church is about love. It is foolish members blinded by hatred who make the church look bad.

Well this is a first. Last I checked the Mormon church still principally sees homosexuality as a sin; but if it's finally taking a libertarian view, that's great. But I doubt these represent a significant demographic.

I'm Mormon and I agree with Penn Jillette (well I'm also a Libertarian so its not SO shocking) of all people, the only way to have "Marriage Equality" is to get the government out of the marriage business. Let both gay and straight people, if they want shared legal standing, draw up civil contracts with inheritance and separation clauses, and lets leave Marriage as a religious term and a matter of faith not law involving the state/feds if a pair of homosexuals want a religious wedding they can start their own church/faith no big deal really and My fellow religious friends need to see that there can be no sanctity in Marriage if the state is running the show and not the Church/G-d
