I saw a stamp that says "Homestuck is better than Hetalia". So, I decided to say "Hetalia is better than Homestuck".But honestly, I tried to read Homestuck. It didn't go down too well. My eyes began scrunching up painfully. Part of it was because I didn't like the art. But just from the beginning, I really couldn't get into it. It just didn't appeal to me, to be honest. Not my cup of tea, you could say. From the beginning that I read, I didn't see a plot, although if I had continued, there probably would have been one.
I just couldn't handle it. I don't like it. At all. I honestly don't care if other people like it, though. It's fine if you're a fan.
I love Hetalia. It had a more interesting beginning, imo, with the funny world conference and stuff. I thought it was amusing, and it seemed to start out with a plot, although that kind of dwindled away in the later episodes. (I'm talking about the anime, not the manga). It just appealed to me more.
So therefore, in my opinion, Hetalia > Homestuck.
Hetalia has a shit fandom though.
However, from speaking with many Homestuck fans, they said that Homestuck also has a shitty fandom.
Some people say "But you can't compare the two". Maybe they're right.

But I know this sounds stupid but my worst enemy likes Hetalia and now I just cringe knowing that she likes it.
I actually read Homestuck with a friend we stayed up till 3 in the morning when we got to act 4, it was pretty interesting, I haven't read it lately but I know what's going on. I understand what you mean but "not handling it" It actually took me 3 tries before I got to where I was.

When someone said there was a response to my stamp I got really excited..! It'd be nice to see from someone elses point of view! But.. your only point is that you don't like the art.. ? Just because part of the style isn't to your appeal doesn't mean it's not good. Hetalias creepy style of making all the characters look the same doesn't bother you I suppose?? And the fact you submitted it to only Hetalia groups so all you would get is agreement?? True stamp makers leave room for debate! How disappointing. :c

No, that's not the only reason. I found it boring, although I didn't really want to put that in the artist's description, because anyone can find anything boring. Also, I thought the beginning with the whole 'missing arms' thing was freaky, although that's just my personal opinion. It just really wasn't to my tastes.
And no, I didn't submit it only to Hetalia groups so all I would get is agreement. After submitting and leaving to go wash dishes, I remembered that I had forgotten to submit it to all of my favorite stamp groups.
Thank you for assuming completely absurd, untrue things and judging who you think can be considered a 'true stamp maker'.

Well you should have put those in the description, shouldn't you? That's the point of the description, to explain the thing you submitted? I don't see much point of putting up an opinion but leaving all the reasons why to the viewers imagination.

I agree with this. 
Both are great in their own ways. And both have qualities that their fans like! Comparisons(especially between Hetalia and Homestuck) are kind of silly and don't help the rivalry between the fandoms. :\

Homestuck is profitable. [link] There's even a store. The creator doesn't condone selling Homestuck merchandise by yourself and tells fans to show their work to him to sell in the online stories.
