This is a painting for my sister. She loves Betty Boop, ever since we told her that she looked like her when she had her hair short and black.My sister and I are both Aries, so I thought it would be neat to make Betty Boop into an Aries/zodiac thingamabob. :B
I relied heavily on a reference photo, cause I suck at copying other styles, and I know my sister wouldn't want Betty in my own style.
Done in ink and watercolour. This was actually a lot more blended, but my scanner messed with the contrast a bit... Oh and you can't see the BEST part in the scan, it actually has iridescent medium on certain parts, so it glitters! My sister loves glittery stuff.

Great to see a new artist doing Betty Boop. If you did different ones for all the signs. I am sure a lot of people would be interested. I am not a Betty Boop fan but a lot of my friends are. Your work stands out from the rest. The dress flowing down and around was neat touch.

Not exactly, lol, but he's often accompanied by a stray mut, as seen in Trick or Treat pic. Sadly, though, that mut dies a horrific death in my fanfic.

BTW, did you know Betty originally started out as Bimbo's girlfriend? She was originally a dog, then they made her human. Her earrings, for example, where once doggy ears. XP That's the other thing they have in common. Betty used to be a dog while Seth is actually a Moonwalker (werewolf).

when I read the title I immediately said "Betty!" wow it has been so long since I have seen anything Betty Boop related XD I used to collect these Betty Boop cards when i was little and watch the early cartoons of her.
