Shiny, graceful and pretty. Mysterious and inspiring. Yeap, you and the Kelpie were made for eachother.

This is truly a beautiful piece, however, I was lead to believe that the Hippocampus was the one with the tail while Kelpies look more like a horse as they can leave the water to draw the naive to them to drown.

Thank you. There are actually many different depictions of the kelpie (which is also a shape-shifting beast), including many old celtic crests that depict the beast with a fish-like curling tail.
Plus, drawing a horse-fish is much more fun.

Absolutely amazing color use. The flowers, the kelpie... everything is beautiful! The brightness of the subject and darkness of the background contrast well. Great job!

I've always loved how different places in the world have the same creatures but they look very different.
I like this Kelpie better, he looks very beautiful.
