Since this one is older, i assume that i only used 3 brushes to make it. I used 6-7 brushes for the acrocanthosaurus 1

In my opinion, the author of the paper does not give enough evidence to support his claim. He focuses on the question of: did tyrannosaurids have sensitive scales on their snouts, or beaks, and why?
It all depends on how one interprets the data. In my opinion, tyrannosaurids Did have lips. I'll only change my mind if we find solid evidence that they didn't.
So far, all we know is that they Could have had scales and armor on their snouts ,maybe even bare skin, or just bumps, but we know nothing about lips. Sometimes, skulls lie. Take a look at the skulls of modern day animals. For example, some of them have marks, or bumps on their skulls, but these may not even be visible on the animals in real life. Some reptiles have very long teeth that are covered in lips. I bet that if Komodo dragons were extinct, some people would reconstruct them without lips and some would reconstruct them with smooth, bare snouts (no scales) and lips at the same time.
I'm not saying that they had lips for sure, because everything is possible. It's my opinion, and it may be correct, but there's a 50% chance that it's not.

But there are many, many more reasons to support this claim, and many, many reasons to support the claim of them not having lips. They 2 ideas are....basically.... both.... correct! (Until we find more evidence)
