Description Monolophosaurus jiangi is one of the most unusual Chinese theropods. He is known for his strange crest along the skull, which gave him the name. The function of this strange fine-boned of education is unknown, because for fighting it was not good. But I decided that the main purpose is demonatration, so painted crest in bright colors (and the head, however). Monolophosaurus was discovered in the middle Jurassic Shishugou formation (Xinjiang, China). Reaching lengths of 5.5 meters, it was one of the largest predators of this formation, although his contemporary, Sinraptor dongi, grew to significantly larger sizes.

Protofeathers on the back and neck, as the throat pouch - speculative details.

I love the style of your works, but the coloring in this one looks very unnatural. Maybe if the green was blue to follow through with the crest and it was a little more consistent?

Thanks for the reminder! That is why I prefer "black and white" style.

Agreed. Overall, art is great in this gallery, but there are some questions to colors not in scientific, but in artistic sence. Too much of pink hues, some characters even look a bit like naked chicken.

I'd look at birds a bit more...
