This is a newer character I created a couple weeks ago. I had found an old obsession of mine when I was a child, "Flight of Dragons" and wanted to attempt to draw a dragon in that style. Little Gren here is what I ended up with. X3 I don't have much of a background for him yet.Grendel is a small feathered dragon, slightly bigger then a draft horse. I was watching some doco about how dinosaurs had feathers like chick fluff and that's about when I started adding the 'fuz' to him. The fuz covers his entire body except for his belly, legs and his beak.

Oh! I've heard of that cartoon, I've never seen it, but I knew it was cute. Dragon + feathers = really fwuffy artwork! It's really original, too.

woah! thats some kick ass dragon. i love the detail in the legs and tail feathers. i think it would look cooler if the wings had a bit more detail though.

I LOVED THAT MOVIE! Hehe, he's cute. The only difference between yours and the dragons in the movie, I think, is the fact that your dragon has longer legs. The dragons in the movie all had really short, stubby legs.

Yeah I noticed that about his legs too after drawing him. X3 I didn't have a whole lot to work with since good reference pictures are almost impossible to find so I did the majority of the work from memory.
I'm going to try and get the movie on DVD if I can find it again... *mutters and wanders off.*
