Added to favs, this was just what i needed for the "Charms Bar" Skin for Object Dock Plus 2 I've been working on... take a look here is a screenshot of my secondary monitor screen [link] I would like to Include your icons and give you some credit if I (and maybe will for a change, haven't released anything since I closed my old DA account) release the skin. (since all I could find was a Rocket Dock skin of the charms bar and I personally like Objectdock more) so I have to work on my own, however It would be nice to have an alternative version of the Windows logo (the new rectangular one MS uses now) also some text versions but I could actually work on that specially for my skin...
In any case looking good as it is on my Dockbar so good job

do you know where the actual default charmbar icons are stored (.dll maybe) in Windows 8? And if you do, can you please tell me ASAP?

why is the Search one the only one that looks like the real thing?

Because those are not the original images, if you read the description.

I thought so, I was just wondering why you recreated Search faithfully, but not the rest.

oh, one of those things? Yeah, I saw some of that in the Remote Desktop app... I just assumed it was an analog to what I sent you
Nice job, though! Sorry about the misunderstanding :3

i fixed it. it was the visual c++ runtime libraries problem. i uninstalled all 2005 versions and it worked. before i had a problem with several programs and they all had to do with the location of files so i tried and it worked. yay for me.

I can't say yet, but we're working on it. I'm waiting for Win8 Consumer Preview to see what can be added to Omnimo.

Well, in contrast to having used Photoshop for a while, I found making these shapes annoying in Illustrator. Obviously because I'm not experienced enough to use it comfortably. Need to work a little bit more with Illustrator to get used to it I suppose...

That's how I feel when I try to use Photoshop after having used Paint.NET for so long. I know PS allows for much faster and efficient art production, but I'm so set in my ways and it sucks to learn a new program.
