There's hardly anything I can find in me to say here.... words would just be.... out of place, for this moment.
So after a moment of silence, instead, I shall rise my gaze towards the dark and blue of where the both of us come from, and I'll say this: his body died, but his spirit never will. There always is a time of sorrow and pain. There always is a fall. But only to give way to a neverending rise. All the pain he has known in his life will only make him ever stronger now. The memory of blood will never die. From it, the wrath and fury will paint the skies in its colors.... and then in the cold crystal skies a shining new dawn shall arise. Finally. Forever.

Maybe that's part of the reason he wanted you to go through it all. Experience the worst of it and see him rise from it, see he's still there, ever stronger. In this sense, his fall is a testimony of his undying power.

Thanks - yes, I saw this indeed With such a dark and sad atmosphere. The actual scene is actually in a light background...
The fur didn't take that much time actually - it's mostly about efficiency and where exactly to put those few details that are needed to create the impression of details. When you look at photos of smooth fur, you see that there aren't so many details, except for on 'edges'.

.... this is so hard to look at...my heart just howls with...you know...
I know I said already but again the emotion in Goran's eye...the line of his mouth... how still and somber he is in his position. And Stian's frozen face of agony from a death that was anything but peaceful...an emotion he otherwise would never show like this.
I've known this was to happen for a long time and we discuss this often...but still to see it like this...to see another of my hero's fall to them...
Another blow to my heart...
It's nearly impossible to talk about this piece on a technical level but... in light of that it still works all too well. With the red in contrast to the blue, unlike your piece with Jayto...this red bleeding into the soft blue doesn't feel so pure or spiritually alive and beautiful. It feels dark and hopeless, the blood of life draining out of him into the lights as he fades into the background... Creates an entirely different feeling. Very good for what you were trying to represent in this piece but still it isn't pleasant... But in this case for artistic purposes *feels almost dirty to say that here...* it works very well. Also love the little details of the blood smudged into his nose and cheek...as sad as it is still can appreciate those details.

It has been a while before I got some answer together....but I might well give it a try now...What you said here, means a lot to me. I sense that you care about him...Also, as we also spoke about this more often - it is strange that from some of those who come to us- we see how they die shortly after we first met them...I remember you had that with Vivian too...
Speaking of the technical part - composition and lighting/colour wise it's not the most spectacular work - but I managed to pull of some realism that I have rarely managed before...some drawings just 'happen'....
I don't have much more to say...but you already know...
