So, apparently scientists are finding that the public, including the portion of it that is active in the animal-rights area, is unwilling to fund research towards WNS because bats "are not cute."
As a few of you may know, I like bats. I also think they're cute. Certainly cuter than sea-kittens. I find this turn of events depressing on several levels.

Anyway, when viewing this picture, it is best to keep in mind that her interlocutor replied "no," and was promptly stabbed to death with a pair of scissors.

On a completely unrelated note, I hadn't noticed before, but Talking Heads makes surprisingly good drawing music. Mmm.
