This is a piece for of her character, Yuuri.

I've been wanting to draw this character for a while, and recently I had the inspiration (as well as permission) to do so.

I tried to capture many symbolic things here. Feathers, representing flight. Black representing tarnish as well as circling back to one of Yuuri's pieces. The tall buildings are a little distorted to give a more angular depth to the piece, making it feel like there's a lot of air, somewhat of a vastness. The pose featured leans on action, running and leaping, as if into the unknown. The silhouette compliments the unknown factor. The clouds swirling in the sky help make the building's distortion more dramatic, but I didn't want to make the sky to bold. The spiraling clouds also hint to chaos, yet faintly.

The sun is the the back of the character to bring reason to the silhouette, but also because it is oh so awesome to have the sun being toasty
