This is a great shot, very intense.
This photo is also a representation of just how many possobilites the 400d has which I didn't put into action yet.
Have you done any after adjustments if I may ask? Or use any extra filter? For there is something special about this

thanks very much
it wasn't too hard in terms of camera abilities as the light is very straight forward and no harsh contrasts had to be covered..
Anyway I did several adjustments after the fact including curve corrections, dodging & burning and sharpening.

ahah I really like your description, effectively it's very good for street shots . For portraiture, you did an excellent job, it shows very well that you're a pretty good architecture photographer but also a wonderful traveler/street shooter one. The serie you're doing is really a nice invitation to travel and i'm amazed by the quality of it (erm i already said tht before but i do think it)

Excellent photo. I've got a question though.
For so long I've wondered about up-close photos like this, with the people looking at whoever is taking the photo. How do you go about doing it? Do you just walk up and snap the photo? or do you go about asking somehow?

I usually try to shoot unnoticed, but since I'm standing one or two seconds there, most get curious and look in my direction. But if I'm fast enough though, I still get a natural expression

Klasse Schnitt, klasse Farben, klasse Kontraste. Die Strukturen sind so...naja, als kΓΆnnt man sie anfassen halt. Und dann der Kontrast zwischen dem Metall und den abgetragenen Klamotten...definitiv ein Favorit

Great picture, I like the unusual expression you've captured here. It works well with the atmosphere the colours and the steam create
