hi, thanks for the comment, it was shot at the jokhang temple in the middle of lhasa which is one of the most sacred sites in tibet, there's something like a pole in front of it where all the pilgrims put their prayerflags for good luck and so on.. so that's why it's quite crowded

Beautiful, i love the bright colours. I want to g to Tibet so badly but I have promised not to go untill it is free (no tourism dollars for the PRC)

well, you can travel low budget and support the locals there if you go in the right guesthouses and eat at small restaurants.. you don't have to throw much money at the prc if you don't want to
oh and I don't think the prc is too poor at the moment, so I guess with 50 bucks of visa money or something you don't do too much harm..

ich würd gern ma son bild so sehn wie es "aus der kamera kommt" um ma zu sehn wie du da noch dran drehst... die farben sind immer voll hammer und überhaupt die lichtstimmung sehr beeindruckend.

hier war auch wunderbarste abendsonne, da war das licht schon von vornherein fein..
naja die rohdatei ist nur wie ein komponiertes lied, das was danach kommt ist die interpretation des musikers/fotografen

aber ich wüsste gern wie man aus "einfachen" bildern noch viel rausholen kann...
also wenn ich an mich denke und so ein bild gemacht hätte... würde es nicht so aussehn, da die farben und die stimmung nicht annährend gleich wären...
vielleicht kannst du ja mal nen tutorial erstellen?!

uff öhm ja naja eigentlich nur soviel kontrast rauspressen wie möglich
sprich in lightroom oder camera raw mit recovery und fill light slidern erstmal soviel tonalität zusammenpressen dass es noch nich allzu unnatürlich aussieht und dann mit kontrast und kurven den rest rausquälen. dazu noch die luminosity für die verschiedenen farmen vermobbeln, insbesondere blau und umliegende möglichst schwarz kriegen für den passenden polfilter look.
spezialtrick für recht öde landschaften: gelb, orange und rot kanäle auf +100 luminosity packen damit sie viel zu hell aussehen, dann die hauptbelichtung solange runterziehen bis sie wieder gut aussehen -> der himmel wird nochmal um einiges dunkler.
