This is the final version of the frog commission so many people liked. it's only lacking two coats of Damaar Varnish before it runs off to live with it's new owner. if you want to commission me for something, all you have to do is email me, or drop me a note. i trade sometimes, too.Related content

i am not "very angry" with you, i was trying to be as kind as possible and still explain to you that you must ask permission to use a person's artwork in that way. you can be inspired by another artist and that is great, i am really flattered that you were inspired by my painting! thank you, i'm glad you like it. i am concerned that you really didn't make your own interpretation of the idea as much as you re-made the original in a different style. when you use another artist's work in your own, at least in the USA you must use the original artwork as less than 5% of the final composition. your artwork must be 95% your own, and what i saw in your piece was my composition, my drawing, and your coloring. i am sorry, but for that much similarity you must ask FIRST, really, it's the only polite thing to do, and in some cases the only legal thing to do.
i am sorry to offend you, but i am sure that if you were in my position you would also be concerned. i hope that you continue to make great artworks, and that you are just aware now that you should ask permission before using another artist's work. i am not angry with you.

thanks!! and donΒ΄t worry. I want to beging again. I love your gallery, and well, IΒ΄m studing graphic design in mexico. I love it, and IΒ΄m trying to learn more practicing by my self. I hope to submit more creations, speciality drawings and painting, but now I dont have a lot of time. I hope that you can look it and tell me your opinion about them.

what an interesting piece. i like how the green in the backgroun and the frog's green is almost the same, i think adds to the irony of it - a frog in a fancy outfit...i really like the shine on the watch's chain. the hands look like the were a bit hard to do, good job !

I once bought postcards of oil paintings. The paintings were about birds in human clothesand the style was very similar to this, and I thought that there can't be better paintings than those were. BUT I was wrong; this frog beats them all! You are genious!
