A Chinese creature, the third most powerful in Chinese mythology behind the Dragon and Pheonix. The Japanese version is called a Kirin, and is generally more slender. The Chinese word for "Quilin" refers not only to these creatures but to Giraffes, after an emperor had giraffes as pets and claimed they were these legendary creatures.Related content

sometimes they are called "Chinese Unicorns" though they usually have two horns.
