Whenever I tried gradient shading in the past, I was always confused by that second darker shade and what to do there haha... this helped a lot! I'll give it a try one day. Thank you!

cool tutorial! helped me a bit... a few things i didn't know...

but I am curious, when you use gradient shading, doesn't adding more gradients erase the last gradient? how do you solve that problem? I'm guessing that you probably have separate layers... but i didn't see that here....

i'm not using different layers for gradient shading,
and it won't delete others.
i do it exactly as you see on this tutorail nothing more or less.

hmm then maybe it's the version of photoshop I'm using.... (I'm using CS2) or you have your options set up different than me...
