question, how long did it take you to get to this stage of realism where i almost thought this was an actual picture?

Going by the years that I started drawing (when I was 12) to when this was drawn (2017), then it took me 13 years to get to this piece. 
Which is pretty slow compared to a lot of artists, but I'm slowly improving as I go. hahaΒ
It's so weird to think that I have been an artist for longer now than I was alive when I started.

The lighting and shading is so realistic, and absolutely beautiful. The whiskers look amazing, they even look right with the lighting. <3

This is so pretty!Β I love how you can see the light shining through the ears and how you gave the blackΒ fur a purple gloss.Β Like always, the fur texture is amazing, and the eyes are breathtakingly realistic.Β I also really love the background in this one, which complements the color scheme of the cat but has a completely different texture so it doesn't blend in.

this is gorgeous! everything is so realistic. those eyes are stunning, and the fur is so detailed. I really like how you made the ears with one rotated a bit to the side, as if the cat vaguely hears something in the distance. the background is lovely, and really accentuates the color of the eyes. great job!
