"Calling to Winter"Contest entry for this contest here: Art Contest $150 in Prizes | 3 DAYS LEFTEdit: New characters added!
This is a "draw my character" contest, which means that to participate, you'll pick one of the characters (will be humans, anthro and canines (feral) to choose from!!) listed below and draw them, and after some time has passed we'll pick some winners! I will be judging alongside two of my IRL friends so that the contest is not gonna be biased. Everyone, no matter your "skill" or whatever, is invited to join and all have a chance of winning some sweet prizes <3
You are allowed to draw as many of my characters as you'd like, and join as many times as you'd like. Each drawing counts as an individual entry and will all be judged seperately, which means that a person technically can win more than one prize.
Prizes:
The prizes will be a mix of USD/points (winner can choose) and art by a few people I really adore and have handpicked myself!

Kinda had this sitting half finished for like almost two months now. But nothing like a deadline coming up to get you motivated to finish something. haha

I lost this critique and finally found it in my messages and now it's too late to accept it. (I find that really dumb that DA has a time limit on critiques.)
If it's not too much trouble, would you be willing to copy and paste it on the deviation so that I can cherish it always and not have it disappear forever? (Once it's removed from my messages, I don't know if I'll have a way to find it again.) DX

And, once again, a stunning artwork - it certainly won't surprise me if you win the contest! I love the pose, the lighting and the background - that sky is simply amazing!
To the things you can improve. I would make the white fur a bit lighter. When you compare the white fur in the face with the one on the back, you see that the markings in the face are lighter. Also, as I see from the ref, the fur on the tail should be longer, and the tail in general should be more fluffy.
But that's it. Once again - this is a stunning artwork!

My husband said the same thing about the tail after I showed him. XD
Hopefully, it's not too bad, I was going for a realistic look while making the tail longer too, but I should have made it more fluffy. DX
