My Seldnac'Rae who inspired me to create a species for her.
Finally a proper ref for her. lol
And her magic was completely random too. I just pulled the first magic out and used it. X3

First of all, I really love this color scheme. I feel like the varying shades of brown really jive with the glowing blue on the stripes and ear flames. On the subject of the ear flames, however, I feel like the head shot has them a bit too differntly colored compared to the full body shot, and they both could be made different to more closely resemble actual fire. Other than that, the brilliant blue fits everywhere else. I like how you also included it on the paws and the nose even. Other than that, I feel like the shading could also use some work. It looks amazing as it currently is and many leagues better than what I can accomplish, but I still see some minor room for polish to make the places where color changes to have a more fur-like effect. On that note, the lineart is also excellent, though it could also use a bit of polishing as well. Other than that, this is a fantastic piece and I love how included dark rectangles behind each part or text block of this piece while also making them off seemingly on purpose. It is certainly an interesting design choice to be sure. Amazing job!

Now first of all, she's really a stunning character! And this is the first time I've seen you draw her fullbody, isn't it?
To the sheet itself. It really shows how she looks, and you've added all the necessary details. I really like the details that she lifts one of her paws, so you can see the color of the paw pads properly.

I would also add some more information about her in the description. How old is she? How is her personality? Where does she live? Eventual friends? Etc.
But all in all, this is a really good ref of a stunning OC!

Nice! If I'm not mistaken, Ignis is cat-based? The lines that match the flames are beautiful! I feel like on the side view, the flames could be a bit better, but I know how hard flames are to do in the first place. Ignis looks like a beautiful lioness, and I can guarantee that Ignis is very well-designed. The fur could probably have been a bit better, but I don't know the circumstances under which you drew this. You could've been rushed, and I understand that it's difficult to do this type of stuff in the first place, so you did a great job!

I tried to keep everything pretty simple because these linearts were actually done for creating some adoptable designs, so I wanted to keep it easy to edit. And I just used it for Ignis's reference sheet since it worked so well.

Hmmm, you could browse some characters on here. Maybe look up adoptables to get some ideas of color schemes that go well together and that you like. Maybe see some markings you like to incorporate into a design for yourself. (But obviously don't rip off a design and copy it. Just browse to get some ideas for your design.)
You can even look up real animals to get some ideas. Look up real life cat or dog/ wolf photos. (I don't know which you're leaning toward making, whether it's feline or canine.)
Those are some ideas for getting some inspiration for your own design.
If you were talking about drawing it in general, my advice would be to look up some real life pictures of the pose you want to draw, of the canine/ feline you want to draw. And use that as reference to help with any anatomy troubles you might have. Or even look up some canine/ feline drawing tutorials on here.
