An entry for 's contest. The objective was to take an outline of one or more of her pre-drawn template character (like the female lizard [link] ) and make it into a character of your own.

I spent HOURS on it; particuarly with the format and shading! O_O; The only outline changes I made to the original were different colored outlines, and an extra "pig-tail," but she still looks very different, huh?

Now, introducing: Skylar Blue, the Gliding Lizard (also known as a "Flying Dragon")!

She lives in Windy Valley, kind of as its guardian. Her "pig tails" Are actually flaps of scales that allow her to glide in the air for long periods of time, and her coloring is so that she will blend in with the bright blue daytime sky. Her motto is, "Early to bed, early to rise, makes a lizard healthy, wealthy, and wise." She has a generally friendly and heroic nature, helping anyone in need. She is also a natural-born leader, and has an extreme hatred for vandalism and littering.

So, here's the character! Unfortunately, she won't be completely mine unless I win the contest. I'll give her more details if I win.
