Description
First attempt at the not-quite-knight in shining armour from Berserk, Griffith. I always said I'd redo the cosplay, to include said shining armour, which I actually managed in 2008. Still, it was a lot of fun to duo-cosplay with my pal Daan, who went as Judeau.

The outfit was as unfinished as anything, but blame my studies. The behelit was perfect, though hard to see on this picture. I made it with a foam center, clay exteririor, red paint, and a lot of patience. The shirt was interesting to make to say the least, since I'd never done so before. This led to some unconventional but effective sewing methods. *grin* In retrospect I really should have gotten a wig, for black to white hair is impossible with simple spray-on.

I wore this costume at the Anime 2002 convention in Veldhoven, the Netherlands.
