Description In a bit of a funk at the moment. I hope to recharge the creative battery soon and see what develops.

No stocks, background is a mix of a texture I painted and some of my photos, Poser and misc. photos I took myself.

Nice work, although I don't see those kind of "decorations" on the ear (don't know how to call them) fitting that much in the overall piece, but I understand that if you were under a creative block you maybe have just "thrown" them into the work

Disquietingly brilliant, even in what you might consider a funk. Here is a classic example of letting the funk work for you, feeding the funk into the machine and siphoning the juice.

Quasi-religious magnificence on display here with the usual capacity to enchant and preoccupy those lucky enough have some time to spend with his work; to become adsorbed and wonder at inspiration that drove the concept and execution while drawing out the experience and interpretation of the audience. Always a pleasurable experience.
Dali, DaVinci and Bosch but make no mistake it's all Phil

Wow, thanks Steve! Always a joy to hear your interpretation of what came from my own sleepness night staring at a very bright nightlight known as my computer screen through very squinty eyes! It is amazing how sometimes we can try too hard and need to let it go and see what happens, sometimes it's just better that way!

Wise words indeed Phil. There's old Brit Newspaper reporter saying where, when you're completely blocked, "just lay brick". It's hard to force yourself but once you start to put things down it quickly becomes a bit of something that can grow......something I'm trying to teach my kid right now.
