I dedicate this work to all mothers. In my country the mother's day is celebrated the second Sunday of the month of May.

You know my maternal grandmother passed away in a care facility during quarantine.

I'm sorry that your mother is gone from you. That must be really hard for you. My mom's still alive, but she and my dad are divorced, so I don't see her much anymore. We're trying to arrange a get-together, though. However, I have lost other loved ones: my grandpa on my dad's side, and my grandma on my mom's side. Neither of them was in good shape. My grandpa always needed help sitting on the toilet, while my grandma used to live with my mom and me when we lived in my dad's current house in Severna Park (the one I'm living at now). She sometimes thought she was a young girl and needed to get to school. She once went out the front door and down the street until she fell down and lay on the sidewalk in a pool of blood (I didn't know this at the time; my mom told me afterwards). She then got sent to a special nursing home. She died when the attendant wasn't looking and she fell and broke something major. I don't know what it was.

I can easily imagine her going through hard times when it comes to painful labor. Like mer-babies came from a bubble, which is not painful. Ever thought of that?
