Maybe scrap this later? (lol i keep saying that)Anyway, thought I needed to practice with natural mediums more.
Her body is a bit too long but it's too late to change that now.
I'm going downhill with pencil crayons T_T
Don't really like the scanning quality (Yeah sure... blame it on the scanner)
Blue and purple are such fun colours to use ^^!

You did well coloring, but her torso is not correct. The way it is twisted is abnormal in that her hips are facing to her left, her torso starts the twist to face the right, but then her chest and upper body come to face the front. Her chest and upper body should be pointed more to the right. So, you'd have something similar to a 3/4 profile. Have a look at yourself in the mirror or observe another twisting to see what I mean that she shouldn't (as far as my understanding of her character) be twisting in three different ways since it is humanly impossible. She does come off as a bit elongated, too, but that's hardly noticeable. The overall piece is good, but it does show a few flaws that could be worked on.

The coloring on her is amazing...and actually i dont think the body looks too long. Since you made her like leaning over you cant even tell...if she was straight up then she would prob look long. It is a very good piece.

Great picture overall, before I go into detail, you're either really talented or put a ridiculous amount of effort into this. Or both, possibly. Great detailing on the costume, and the background symbol. Took a while to notice, but the repetition of the design on the tattoos and shorts is a nice touch. The blue and purple all over really suit the feel of the picture, and the character, and so do the details of her costume, especially the fiddly bits like the fishnet and the layers on the top.
Only one complaint, which has been said already, and that's that she does seem very skinny. Not exactly unnatural, and it suits the style, but it sort of clashes with the impression I get that she's a fairly active character. Overall, though, it's a great picture, and she looks like a great girl. She's not a recurring character of any kind, is she?

the paper I used is just the normal 8.5X11 photocopy paper.
I don't really keep track of how many layers I used. Usually how I start is colour lightly with the lightest pencil crayon and the gradually start adding on the darker colours. While doing so, the texture of the paper becomes more waxy. (if it still isn't waxy enough, I colour a bit harder with the lightest colour until I get the right texture)
Anyway, since the waxy texture will protect the paper from wearing out, I can add more layers on top of that.

There's even a pirate version of canson paper (hauahua.. even for that! I think after paraguai, brazil is the falsification country)
The pencil I use (there's not many options for that too >< so I usually buy the national faber castell) is already kinda waxy. So if I try to blend with a caran'dache on top of it... if just doesn't blend

Absolutely magical. Although I think it'd look better if you made bits of the skin kinda white kinda like you did with the hair, for shining purposes, you know? Because the hair has white shine on there which look really good, but it kinda stands apart and draws too much from the rest of the body. A little brighter-ish on the skin and it'd be kinda balanced.

Incredible how well this stacks up to the rest of your work; you're obviously a master of the traditional mediums as well. Love the way the skin tones contrast with the blue of the clothing.
