Seen when I went to put out trash a few weeks ago. Opossum alive. Waited for my brother to come home and deal with safely getting it out, as he is much better at handling wildlife.Related content

That was the issue: no thick gloves. Also, I didn't want to risk injuring it by trying to pick it up, in case it had been injured from falling into the almost empty trash barrel. My brother is way better at handling animals.
