But does Shego seem likely to forgive and forget? To kiss and make up? To turn the other cheek?

Sure, but not after an appropriate measure of violent punishment has been meted out.

And violent punishment is coming up, with the help of a like-minded colleague: Sango the demon-huntress, a spirited and long-suffering lady with lots of bad experience of the roving eyes and wandering hands of her sweetheart, Miroku.

Sango thus gladly lends Shego her Hiraikotsu and her battle-gear, and since Shego is a cartoon character she can change clothes in the blink of an instant.

And here she comes, Lady Vengeance in her awesome splendour. The red trimmings of Sango’s costume have for some reason turned green; maybe a catalytic effect of Shego’s special powers.

Mr. Lipsky’s strategy hinges on his absence and his tactics depend on hiding behind the drinks table. Other guests have the same idea…

The Katzenjammer Captain appears just because he wanted to say “bummyrang”, Captain Haddock appears out of concern for the whisky, and Popeye appears just to keep the other merchant navy people company. Drakken appears despite his strong wish to be somewhere else.
