Firstly, I feel really bad about this...I had a huge thing that took up a load of time this month so I couldn't devote as much time to finishing this as I wanted to. I really wanted to submit an entry, so I tried my best to get it done. But, I do feel like it's an insult to all the other entries that I'm submitting this as if it deserves to stand with all the other ones that people worked really hard on. So, I apologise.But, as for my description: this is my entry for 's September 2008 contest. The theme was "Superhero Inuyasha". Once again, I couldn't decide between two ideas so I stuck them both into the same thing. I couldn't really think of specific and detailed ideas...so the first one is just a generic joke about how "form-fitting" superhero outfits tend to be. The girls are meant to be looking on, embarrassed. The way I drew them SUCKS, but I couldn't take them out because it's part of the whole joke, really...their "personal areas" (heehee) are hidden from view, and Kagome's nose is supposed to be obscuring Inuyasha's. So, I had to leave the suckiness in.
The second one...is another silly joke. It's supposed to be that Kirara put on the super-awesome disguise of a mask and now nobody can tell it's her. It was funny in my head, I swear. And my original idea had also Inuyasha and Miroku there in the background singing Super-Kirara's praises, but I ran out of time to draw them. Bah.
All characters are property of Rumiko Takahashi. I merely pay tribute. If you can call THIS that... XD

Well now, you're officially on my list of awesomely awesome people for asking that. I get all happy when people are interested in my original stuff. I set up a Comic Genesis site to put Changi comics on, and I was waiting until I was happy enough with that before I made any new comics. Now, the updates have caught up with the existing comics I already had...so I need to get my backside in gear and start getting the newest ones up. Starting this week I'm going to put the comics into my gallery at around the same time they update over there, every Thursday.

Haha! I think the obscuring is very clever-it worked out well! Miroku is making me LAUGH right now. And poor Inuyasha doesn't seem as confident! Oh my gosh, both Sango and Kagome look GREAT in the second part. I feel like I'm looking at a cel! And I STILL don't know how you always manage to amaze me with how you draw Kirara! (I need to stop putting things in all-caps, but your drawings make me excited!) I, too, hope this wins. I think you still put a lot of work into it.

Thanks! ^_^ I did put a good bit of time into it, but I like to have a day or so to let something sit and then come back to it to see if I can spot any mistakes. Which I so totally CAN, but it's too late now! lol But I'm glad you singled out Miroku and Kirara because those were the bits I was happiest with.
