… and another song for Shego. This time, however, so very very sad. I am quite devastated from having to bear witness to such tragic developments, but what can I do? I do not tell the characters what to do; I just record what happens for the benefit of you, Dear Viewer.

So the "Papa Smurf and Shego" saga is at an end. The evil power of a newly hatched super-villain is no match for Gargamel when he has corporate law as backup! (I should have been a lawyer instead of reading chemistry)

What puzzles me, though, is that Shego does nothing to defend her .. eh .. man (in the broad sense of the word). Has Gargamel zapped her with a weeping spell? Or has she, deep down, realised that the differences are just too great for a lasting liaison between a Disney character and one who is, at least in part, Hannah-Barbera?

Well, anyway, another golden oldie from 1957 for Shego, a billboard number one for the Everly Brothers, "Bye bye love" by Felice and Boudleaux Bryant. Simon and Garfunkel also recorded it in the -70ies. As before, some slight and inexplicable errors in the lyrics, which I have taken upon myself to correct. Spot ‘em?

Oh, by the way, if you get any sick ideas from what can be discerned in the picture of the bedding arrangements, it is entirely in your own devious minds. So what if there is a blue pillow among Shego’s green linen? Really! Honi soit qui mal y pense, as good ole king Edward would have said.*
