First stop on the KP crew vacation tour (except for the Gothenburg - Kiel ferry) was Leipzig.It was soon apparent that something was up. People were dressing rather distinctly. Turned out, it was the Wave-Gotik-Treffen, an annual world festival for "dark" music and arts.
Lots of bands, and about 20 000 attendees, Viking and Pagan markets, Gothic Romance events, brunches celebrating absinthe, fetishistic event, etc etc.
Kim and two of her friends quickly got into the spirit of things, and here they are, dressed accordingly, in front of the statue of Felix Mendelssohn. Rufus feels right at home, but Xena is not so sure...
Kim Possible, Shego and Dr. Drakken are created by Schooley and McCorkle, designed by Steve Silver, and (c) Disney. Fashion creations are by me. Xena the cat is created in the image of Mummy and Daddy cat.

And I love your detail work. That has got to take some serious time o.o Very nice job on that though!
I know this is kind of an older picture, so I'm not sure if you still use the same techniques for your digital art but one thing I would say on this is that you might want to work on textures.
You added so many and with the detail work, it kinda makes everything too busy. Sometimes no texture and very light shading or highlight can go a looong way. Especially on darker colors, like Kim's shorts or Shego's boots.
But other than nugget, that I love this!

Well, the 'style' of my deviations vary i bit over time. For this subject, however, I was very influenced by seeing all the strange and beautiful stuff people had the Wave-Gotik-Treffen, so I sort of wanted to have all these textures and stuff in the pic.

The bizarre and borderline disturbing visuals in this picture just leave me bewildered, shaking my head. I always thought Xena was straight black, not dark brown!
Oh, and the costumes and such are weird, too. I suppose. But then again, they are in Germany. Off to enjoy their Rammstein and Bratwurst.

Well, Xena is a black cat. The longer hairs of her fur are a really deep black. But her undercoat - the shorter, more fluffy hair closer to the body - is actually a bit reddish brown. This is especially visibly in bright sunlight. So it all depends on the light ...
The costumes are actually a bit restrained compared to some we saw.
I don't know if Rammstein played, but I'm sure there was bratwurst to be had!

As for the costumes, I think we'll keep the lace and fishnet for the bedroom. But when in Leipzig, I suppose, do as the Leipzigans do...
