Description A quartet of KP ladies have already tried their hands at different careers. Now, it's time to see what Ron Stoppable is up to.

He's actually doing pretty good!

His gift and appreciation of fine foods has enabled him to open his own restaurant, which although simply called Ron's, offers a distinctly French cuisine.

Most of his guests likes the menu, but some of the rougher elements have some difficulty with the more refined dishes...

Luckily, the faithful Yori is at hand to calm the frazzled nerves of the Chef.

Yori is supposed to say something like "Take it easy, Monkey Man!" I had a lot of help from 'Babelfish', dictionaries and to attempt this translation, but I'd be surprised if it's anywhere near correct, or even understandable...

Ron's prices are a bit to steep for the salaries of Kim, Tara and Shego. Bonnie, and the yappie type dog, thouroughly enjoy the Lobster à l'Americaine, and Duff likes his Haggis and whisky.

Kim, Shego, Tara, Bonnie, Mr and Mrs Possible, Motor Ed, Ron, Yori and the anonymous former Middleton High student are all created by Schooley and McCorkle, designed by Stephen Silver and (c) by Disney. Xena expects to be given the choice of all the leftovers from the kitchen.

ya know what i keep forgetting that he is a really good cook. why the hell didn't he just apply to a colonary school in that one episode. granted he applied for all of them. so its probably included but sense he had his own tv show about how well he cooks i'd expect that this would be a good future for him to pursue

Yeah, lots of fan fiction see him as a master chef after high school.

Well, some food needs ketchup; while others absolutely do not...

Thank you! Well, I don't know if they're on a date, perhaps they are just hanging out with Tara and worrying about the prices at Ron's place...

Well, isn't this fun? It's the kind of pic with so many details that you can't stop staring at it! I love that sort of pictures. I mean, even the carpet and the pictures on the wall are detailed! I also like the theme of it, it's an interesting post-series spinoff.

And lol Ron, that knife... I hope he doesn't loose his patience

Sometimes, it's really fund doing lots of details! And Yori will probably be able to calm Ron down a bit so he doesn't run amok with this big knife...

Actually, from what my bud said about how much he earns as a cop, Tara should be able to treat everyone. Apparently the starting wage, the starting wage, for a California highway patrolman is 85K. After 5 years, it jumps to 105K. They "earn" this by sitting in a car and waving a radar gun around. No wonder everyone hates them...

FeudorLaurent In reply to turbolover175 [2010-10-10 09:20:23 +0000 UTC]

That does sound like a lot! Before tax, I take it? But medical insurance included?

But then, they probably work all sorts of weird hours, and have the chance of getting shot on the job...

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

turbolover175 In reply to FeudorLaurent [2010-10-10 10:00:57 +0000 UTC]

Oh yeah, cops get all kinds of insurance/benefits.

Considering the reputation that California cops have, it's no shame when one gets shot. If anything, the criminal is performing a civic favor.

My friend, your artistic skills continue to be a delight to the eyes.
The details and the backgrounds get better with every drawing you do.
And very glad you put Ron and Yori together in this. I have always stated that these two are perfectly matched as a pair and I could actually see something like this happening if the series were continuing.

Oh, as for the nameless girl at the reception desk, she has been nicknamed, "the background lesbian" from all the fics I have read and seen on Youtube, but as for an actual name, I can't seem to find anything definate.

...and good to see my Bon Bon included in this too!

FeudorLaurent In reply to TheMightyLemon [2010-10-10 07:55:29 +0000 UTC]

Thanks! First time I tried drawing Yori! and I have seen the nickname for the BGL, also, but wasn't really sure how widely accepted it was...

And Bonnie has to feed her dog, so she just had to pop in at the luxury restaurant to get some lobster!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

TheMightyLemon In reply to FeudorLaurent [2010-10-11 15:08:25 +0000 UTC]

I tried doing some more searching for a definate name for the BGL, but no luck. I was kinda surprised on how popular the nickname for her was though.

All I know is that is one lucky poochie to get fed a lobster. Makes me envious!

I haven't tried giving Xena that, yet. The poor cat has to make do with salmon and chicken...

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

TheMightyLemon In reply to FeudorLaurent [2010-10-11 17:53:51 +0000 UTC]

Then take this advice. Once a cat taste a new kind of meat that excites their taste buds, they will turn their nose up at the usual food you serve them.
Like Bon Bon, they have an expensive gene built in them!

FeudorLaurent In reply to TheMightyLemon [2010-10-11 18:22:47 +0000 UTC]

So you mean if I get her to like Russian caviar, she won't keep bothering me about the salmon? ..eh ... right?

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

TheMightyLemon In reply to FeudorLaurent [2010-10-12 08:37:16 +0000 UTC]

If you get her to like Russian caviar, you will be wishing she had opted for the salmon instead!

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

FeudorLaurent In reply to TheMightyLemon [2010-10-12 16:48:12 +0000 UTC]

Well, truth be told, she already positively adores caviar. Fortunately, not the expensive Russian Sturgeon variety, but the very much cheaper Scandinavian sandwich spread that consists of mashed and smoked cod roe. You can get a half-a-pound tube for a couple of bucks. She loves it, and my only concern is that it is rather salty, and I doubt it's good for cats to eat large quantities...

Sorry to comment on my own deviation but I have to share the amusement that can be had translating through Babelfish.

Writing "Take it easy, Monkey man" and going to japanese and then back again a few times gives you "The person of the monkey loosens".

I'd hate to have to rely on the 'fish for serious translations...

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

turbolover175 In reply to FeudorLaurent [2010-10-10 09:18:06 +0000 UTC]

If you use a translator, put in the phrase "Hey Jude, don't make it bad", translate it to German and back into English, you end up with "Hey, do not form Jew, it bad".

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

FeudorLaurent In reply to turbolover175 [2010-10-10 09:34:26 +0000 UTC]

turbolover175 In reply to FeudorLaurent [2010-10-10 09:59:31 +0000 UTC]

It just had to be the Germans, what with their history with Jews...

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

FeudorLaurent In reply to turbolover175 [2010-10-10 10:39:45 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, but also Jude does literally mean Jew in German

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

turbolover175 In reply to FeudorLaurent [2010-10-11 09:15:51 +0000 UTC]

Yeah, that is the big part, but for the translation to order you not to "form it", because "it bad"... Well, you know.

I don't think that Kennedy fans will be happy with that. I remember when he was president and most people thought that he and his family represented the high-water mark in American culture.

The Kennedy family got their money through the illegal bootleg liquor business during prohibition. It just makes so much sense that America's most widespread political family got their start as a bunch of thugs...

Happy with what? My comment? It's not anti-Kennedy comment, just saying his chef wasn't too happy with him and the ketchup.

Skoshi8 In reply to 141188 [2010-10-09 19:15:14 +0000 UTC]

I'm not a Kennedy fan and it's OK to make comments about them, anti- or otherwise. You had to have lived back then, they thought that he was a god.
As for ketchup, when it was revealed that Richard Nixon put it on his cottage cheese, you would have thought from the media reaction that he was Hitler come back to life.

... and furthermore - I do remember the sort of saintly status the Kennedys enjoyed. Perhaps it was all added to by the tragic shootings. What puzzled me, though, was the adoration heaped on Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis...
