Description
an omnipotent presence contructs & constantly revises the known universe..----------
this piece originally started out as this piece,
[link] from a line sketch that i had scanned, mirrored, printed, then based a fully rendered pencil drawing to remove some of that basic mirrored symmetrical feel
went back and did some colorwork digitally.. was wanting to retain the traditional feel in some ways, and scanned sme paper that had a marble pattern on it to incorporate it into the piece.
the color work was all experimental using various applications of layers & porting back & forth between Photoshop Elements & Painter.
Total time (pencil rendering included)- approximately 60 hours
edit(s): artists is dumb, posted piece "upside down" (tis reversable, but i like this direction more)
...and left big typo in title

Phenomenal. Again I'm speechless...! What I love is that even from all of the blood, sweat and toil you put into the graphite version, there was nothing lost in translation to digital. I gotta have more friends like you XD.

That's like the decent sci-fi manga stuff. The detail is incredible.

Holy shit, the amount of details just flood my mind. Love the colors and lighting, and the center focal point is very intriguing. It is like a face and then I realized it is also a girl. Wow, this image has so much to see!

In all honesty, only one other person (rl friend) noticed the dual nature of the central area.. It wasn't intended at first, but then it began forming while i was working on it, and well.. i ran with it
thanks for your feedback

This is incredible, but now I find out it's reversible! Your digital paintings always look so much like real paint, amazing.

That's it...you're marrying me. And you're having my babies...I don't care HOW that happens, you're having my babies. And they will have mad talent, and we shall TAKE OVER THE WORLD!
Anyways...
Lord fev! I love you! I love your art. And.....I love you. This is too great,to see this work in color
. But I'm torn...I'm not sure if I like the pencil version better or not. I like the pencil version, because of the level of detail that you reached with that media. But I also really really like this version because your digi paintings have always been amazing.
Hmm...I shall have to think on this for a while.

Great work ! I very like the technical style of the drawing The color is also very good. I just regret the staticity of the picture, but it works very well with the subject
Great work again !

That's cool. A very original palette you used. I guess I'd go with black/blue... as would many others, I guess.

...wonderfully intricate - not surprisingly, with the amount of time you've put into it - excellent piece, makes me think I really ought to get into the habit of drawing again...

Damn this looks good. The details are truly something to admire at not to mention the coloring. You say this took 60 hours? That makes me respect you even more.

Rocking! This looked great as a sketch, but it looks even better as a coloured pic, and heaven help me, it still looks a little like the last boss in Truxton.
Well done! *faves* I like it verrrrrrrymuch!

*L* Oh, Ooops. *L* I've gotten in the habit of calling *anything* not coloured a "sketch." I'm sorry.
I made it to him, but I cheated like hell. *L* Lotsa pause bombs and a Game Genie code or two. That last level is vicious. *L*

I'd say the experementation was a complete success
This piece is great not only due to its detail and design, but also because it looks both right side up and upside down, you cant do that with a lot of images these days :3
