Description
This figure of Haohmaru was based on his incarnation in Warrior's rage.. a sequel that took place 20 years after Samurai Spirits IVwas trying to finish him for an anime convention, but it took a lil longer than expected.. after a day long drive to the convention, i spent until noon the next day working on him in the lobby of the convention hotel, because he still didn't have his arms attached and needed painting...needless to say, i don't remember much of the con...
-super sculpey, aluminum foil, acrylic paint

It's so well made! And to be made out of sculpy. wow. I am quite impressed. It's seeing things like this that give me hope when working with sculpy. I myself find that it looks too plastic looking. however here, it doesn't look plastic like at all. it looks like it was actually made out of an earthy clay and then painted. Such crisp edges...Kyaaaaaa.
Once more, very well done. keep up the great work!! ^_^

oh my freaking god... you... aluminum foil? whaaaa? *boggles*
I have absolutely no idea who the character is, but that is gorgeous. Did you sell it at the con? Do you sell that kind of thing? That's crazygood. That's just amazing, really. Excuse me while I just stare and drool (and covet and envy) for a while...

^_^;; sorry bout that,, actually, the aluminum foil was used to make the figure lighter, instead of it all being pure sculpey ^^
i'd like to someday, been looking into casting techniques, but it may be a bit to learn
you really gotta try super sculpey out, it bakes in a regular oven and its not messy to use at all. you can find it at most craft stores (like Micheal's)
swear you'll fall in love

I'm not much of a 3d thinker... I've only 'successfully' sculpted once or twice and it's not anything I do especially well. I am in awe of anyone who can and that definitely includes you. I looked at the ones on your webpage too. Totally amazing.
Your art is altogether great. I like the bishie guys, but it's nice to see someone (else) who knows how to put a little muscle on 'em and still make them hot. Very glad you found me so I could find you... or something

You not only draw well, work with a graphics program better than a professional graphics artist, yet you can sculpt too? *is beyond impressed* That is just awesome. ^_^ Love the outfit design and, heck, everything! I have no clue who the character is, but he does look awesome!

The character design at that point absolutely rocks! He is exactly what I expect an aging Haomaru would look and act like(from the sound only, I haven't played the game. I do listen to the sound track.)
Very nice work!

you don't know how nervous i was when i heard he was going to be in a sequel that takes place 20 years late.. was really fearing what they might do to him.. i've been a fan of his since the first time i lay paws on the game ^^
the soundtrack is pretty sweet as well , but the game itself leaves a lot to be desired (although the storyline is prety cool
