Description It's pretty hard to understand, but it shows you how I do it. I do not trace because then I don't see it as something I've done completely by myself.
I know I didn't show you how I draw horses, but I'll jsut have to do a tutorial about that some other time..

Oh wow. *speechless* stunning work. Will definitely try this. But for us poor artists that can't afford photoshop, what would you suggest using to blend the colours together in GIMP?

Hahah thats how I do my digis too. I dont make them very often but when I do I use this. I didnt even know there was a tut out there! Nice tutorial, love the detail of the horse. Far surpasses mine! Nice job!

I use refs for colours and poses, some images have been coloured from my mind though Since horses don't come in 'unnatural' colours

I have a question:
So if the ref is on the computer, do you keep switching back and forth between windows?

This is so good, you're an amazing artist. So far, the colour part is working for me, but I am having trouble understanding what you meant about the blending, how do you blend the colours to look like that?
