Description
It's pretty hard to understand, but it shows you how I do it. I do not trace because then I don't see it as something I've done completely by myself.I know I didn't show you how I draw horses, but I'll jsut have to do a tutorial about that some other time..
If you have any questions send me a message or write it in a comment!
Picture I chose to draw; Ibn Raswan
The finished picture will be submited as soon as it's finished x)

i have a question if it isnt too much of a bother... i probally just missed it while i was reading, but if u dont use a blending tool, what do u use to make the colors smudge? :/

I blend with colors. You paint colors over each othe on low opacity until they are mixed hope you udnerstan, it's kind hard to explain... Im gonna do a tutorial for it as soon as i have time.

I haven't seen it before either. It's probably not that popular since it kinda takes a lot of time

Though it is a bit confusing, I get most of it except how you blend. Care to elighten me ?

feverpaint In reply to Starvinx [2010-09-12 19:23:48 +0000 UTC]
You paint either with low opacity or you use the "other dynamics" option and then you paint the colours that you want to blend over each other a couple of times till it looks like they are mixed. Hope you get it, it's kinda hard to explain x)

omg oo

...
XD
did you do that with each "horse"drawing you do?
also each time such small colour parts to get finally result how its even looks like?
itΒ΄s really interessting to know/see how other artists do it.
I even start with the main colour...then from this colour a new layer with another setting
so itΒ΄s become darker etc.~~~

Yepp, all of my drawings are done this way
Okay, I only know this way and I think it works really good so I've stayed with it
for quite long ^^
