Yes I am freakin' lazy, no need to tell me that. Could have worked harder on this but chose not to. I wanted to get the first page up now cause I need to get back to concentrating on school work, so I don't know when I'll get the next page up. Hopefully this week since it's already scanned, just need to do the photoshop bit...

This is gonna be a (fairly) short doujinshi based on events in the manga now (so if you're not up to date, don't continue reading this and it'd probably be best not to follow the doujinshi either...).

Lately I've been worried that Jaraiya will die (love his character in all his pervertedness! T_T ) so I came up with this idea about if he did. It's also meant for me to practice using my tablet (which I haven't used more than 10 times and I really ought to get crackin' with it...) and also practicing drawing Naruto characters cause until I've drawn them at least once from reference, I don't stand a chance of recreating them from memory. Take this page for example, this is my first time drawing all the characters here except Naruto from reference.

Discouraging critiques cause I want people who critique to have read this first. I WANT critiques if they're about the style I used. For example, if you think I should have coloured something different or should use more shading. I DON'T want critiques about the specific drawing however. Comments like 'his eyes are a bit off' or 'the anatomy's off' I don't really want to hear. In almost all cases, I probably already know - I have an eye to catch these things but I tend to have an inability to fix it properly or else I don't spend enough time on it. Either way, I don't really care to get that sort of criticism on a practice drawing like this. But I'm all for making my doujinshi style better since this is my first shot at one.

And yes, I know I'm probably butchering Japanese traditions in this. There will be plenty more butcherings in the future too, with my lack of knowledge on Japanese culture.

Now, for this doujinshi, there will be drinking and nudity, but nothing above what Kishimoto has put in the actual manga. If you read the manga, then you'll be fine. It will be NaruSaku (so anyone who doesn't like it can get out now X3) and a poke towards TsunadexJaraiya.

Now, for anyone who's actually read this far... er... I have nothing for you... Um... Have a cookie? :3
