A comission I did for my lovely friend of her coolio oc Skylar who is the best waifu material ngl
It was pretty fun to draw because I could go crazy with the lights again, eveb though i struggled with the pose & the general composition of the drawing but I think it turned out well in the end
I also managed to record a speedpaint here!

Very nice work! The highlights of purple, white, and green really add some creativity to the pose even though it's a pretty straightforward one. The angular/shattered background and her expression make her seem tough. I really love that even though this is digital artwork it has a "painterly" feel to it--very expressive and showing visible "brushstrokes", things like that. In my opinion, these things add a bit more emotion to the piece. Nicely done!

Thank you! Im glad you like it; the character was described to me as a tough one so I really tried my best to give that away in the portrait!
The painterly brushes are all designed by Kyle T.Webster - if you ever decide to dabble in the digital arts, I really cannot reccomend them enough! They feel just like the real thing..with, well, waaay less mess! c:
