My dear Basil, a character I've had for a long time, but that I've rarely posted online or spoken about!Basil is very dear to me, I created him shortly after reading 'Duncton Wood' by William Horwood (an excellent book which I highly recommend). If I were to compare him to a character from that book, he would be most like Comfrey, but without the stutter!
Basil was born in a herb garden, a named after the plant that was closest to him. He's always had a fascination for herbs and their properties, and likes to grow his own little garden. He's a quiet mole, and very clean and tidy. He's quite fond of organisation and lists - and you should see his garden! Everything labelled and in perfect order. He's quite disapproving of Rahs carelessness, but he's not the type to say anything about it

I really enjoyed the second one, the third one was good but Horwood kind of killed off all the characters so by the end you were left with nothing xD
But definitely read the second one!

When I first saw him I was thinking of Comfrey too. I just love that story! But what happened? Did his mother find her nest not right and decided to find somewhere else to go, like Rebecca had done? Good thing he doesn't seem to affected by it. So cute....XD
