Kerubies are a PAIN to draw. The original artist of the kerubies had (has) this AMAZING talent, which generally made her pets ridiculously hard to be consistent to. I /think/ i'm just about getting there with them, but it's been a long and hard road!Hydrus kerubies are (c) to Keith Kurson

Well, I learned art in school and such. And I've picked up things over the year by researching and doing tutorials and life studies. So a little of both, I'd say!

They're the only pet I've had to really adjust my way of drawing to be able to get right - I love them too much to do what I did with my other pets (revamping the common pose to my style so the rest would be a lot easier to get right!). When I do revamp the common kerubies, it will again be to make them look like the spectrum and reborn ones, rather than to make them look like rahpets. I'm still waiting until my skill level picks up before I attempt this though xD

I am curious - how would you say kerubies move? Like a cat? Do they hop? Do they pad softly? Or are they more rodent like? I've kind of been going for squirrel cat in my poses, but if you have more insight that would be fab!
