Well, she wears pretty good the armor, isn't she? :3After a period of absence I came back!
It was occasion to try PaintTool SAI and it appears that lines are awesome! I will reconsider this for future drawings.
Celestia ( lines/colors/shadows/lights) with SAI
Background painting and some effects with Photoshop.

Colours are simply gorgeous, and her tail and all tis reflecction... oh my gawd. 5 stars !
The only problem, as most of the time when I look at images like this is that I think that this armor of hers is too pretty.
Let me explain.
The amor is incredibly well designed and I love it, but it looks like something that's just for show and would most likely get her killed in a real battle.
But if you wanted to draw somthing more ceremonial then this is great.

To be direct, I meant that more as an expression than an implication that there existed some things that I didn't like about this picture. I apologize then if my wording caused some misplaced expectations of constructive criticism, because I've really no issues with this picture at all! Though rest assured if I did, I would have outlined my criticism in my initial comment.

Oh, tant qu'on y est... Comment as-tu fait cet éclairage éblouissant? Habituellement j'amplifie la couleur de base avec des modes de fusion de calque, ce qui semble mathématiquement correct pour un éclairage blanc (plus de lumière reçue = plus de lumière émise) mais le résultat est un peu vomitif en fait.

But, in my mind it was not a kind of heavy or full armor, rather medium or ceremonial.

I write a bit fantasy and scifi and i like think about, how things may work. Ok, Tia uses field anyway. But pegasi - their biggest and most gentle parts are wings, body armor are useless. Better, if they have not heavy armor, then they are faster and more difficult to hit.
I was surprised, that in LOTR was no one air defence weapons against nasguls. Some heavy and strong crossbows, what launch 30 arrows at once. Those things may be useful against ork's mass attack too, like hitlerjugend uses FLAK-s against soviet tanks in Berlin at last days of war.
