Someone said that they didn't like this because it had little emotion and made me look like a figurine. I suppose that's the exact reason why I like it. It's fashion photography, not glamour. Sheesh.

I LOVE the shoes......

The outfit is great, it's just that at this angle the boob area needs something. Almost like a lift, or support, or maybe even just a ruffling of the fabric. Anyway, other than that this is a GREAT shot and one you should be proud of.

I really like this, you look beautiful (as always)! Your hair color looks especially good with the silvery dress and those shoes are... well I want to steal them, haha. The colors in this photo are just really pleasing overall, I can't stop looking at it!

I like the pose and the fact that you're not looking at the camera... It's like you spotted something just outside the frame and I feel it adds to the possibility of stories in this photo!

Nice work to you and Megan!

if this is fashion photography, i would think that this is a bad shot: i can't even see the front of the outfit. what do i know.

If you look through the leading fashion photography, it's not always about a straightforward view of the item of clothing. It's frequently about showing how the item hangs, or drapes or flatters a certain figure. It's also about portraying a certain attitude and emotion that *according to advertising* this piece of clothing would make you feel or look. Check out Vogue, or Elle for some great fashion photography, and I'm sure you'll notice they're not all straight on shots.

Now, this proves a point. You're gorgeous nude, but not everyone who looks good nude also looks good in clothing and you do. You have the full range of modelling talent. This is a great shot. And the sash is wonderful!

Unemotional? Who said that? This is still one of my favorites, though I'm putting up the cropped version.

I like the cropped version too, but I like this one more for a fashion photograph.

I think it does have emotion. Feels lonely, like disconnected from the world. Really beautiful.
