I can tell even from your icon ...the color you thinking about and shall consider, maybe coming up with something in the future to satisfy that
Thank you for the critique

Spring has come and I really felt the need to spend some words on this beautiful piece of fractal art, especially because of the style (fractal flowers e.deviantart.net/emoticons/l/l⦠" width="26" height="17" alt="
" title="Love"/>) and for the author. I know Iwona is mainly an abstract fractal artist so I perfectly know how much work, effort and care she put in this fractal, for it really requires a lot of patience (and layers and masks!). The result was great: powerful and delicate at the same time!!!
Let's start saying that what I like most is the color scheme. The shiny white border makes the blooms look magical and very evident, and the gradual passage to hot saturated red tones is really pleasant and soft. Like every petal was made of a velvet candle-light flame. I like how the petals vanish to the background too. The textures and dark natural tones in the background are very elegant and make a nice contrast with the foreground elements, the design really pops out effortless.
Another positive feature of this work is the very solid centers of the flowers, like lead-metal drops or smooth little jewel stones. Perfect job with the sparkles and highlights, both on the gems and in the whole fractal, they really work greatly!
I'm not that convinced with the composition, instead. The flow is nice, shapes don't overlap and merge with each other and can be easily told apart, but the spiral is quite "cut". So in these cases I prefer or to show the whole fractal, or to cut it much more, like it's only one detail of a larger design. I probably would have shown only the big flower on the right, with some tiny flowers on both sides... more on one side, I love asymmetry! (and I love even more vertical layouts, but this is just my very personal point of view e.deviantart.net/emoticons/w/w⦠" width="15" height="15" alt="
" title="
(Wink)"/> )
Nice work with the fBm distortion. Maybe it's a little too intense, but it looks fine. I quite always add it to my flowers too, to give them a more painted/natural look, but the risk is to get the opposite result. This is definitely not the case, I find it a nice example of how this mapping can take your fractal to a more artistic and expressive level.
Overall I really think these are outstanding trap flowers, with a very intense temper and a great game of highlights and shadows to create a pleasant balanced image. You should make more of these!!! e.deviantart.net/emoticons/c/c⦠" width="20" height="20" alt="
" title="Clap"/>!

This is a wonderful fractal. I love the way the leaves are faded a bit. Just one minor point: in the background the shiny thingy from the heart of the flower seems to fall of the flower
Putting this tiny little detail aside, I find this a beautiful image!
