Don't worry, I know what you mean. And I'm not offended if that's something you think you did.
Some people do draw Mona much bigger and buffer than she is originally (I do that too, just not to the extent as some) and I can see people thinking David is still Mona. But I think that in comparison to how I personally draw her it's pretty clear who's who.
But also on this same topic you could also mistake my female turtles with guys especially since they're even less different in design aside from their clothes...
But all in all I don't mind it much because they're lizards so they should stay pretty similar.

This is so funny! I love it! Sofie is adorable. You can tell she really wants August to be able to sweep her off her feet, but she's pleased at him even trying and getting her a few inches off the ground.
I think you give Karai more credit in her strength than I would have. I mean, she's a total badass ninja and she's obviously strong, but I feel like those Turtles would be HEAVY! But maybe she could lift Leo. I can see male Karai lifting Arty, though, for sure.
Leo is such a girl in this picture! XD He's such a dork around Karai. You can tell he's loving it as much as Arty.
And oh my gosh Vin's face at the end made me crack up! Paired with Raph's undignified pose. XD Love this whole picture! Great bit of fun!

Oh God I love this so much!!! There's so much about this piece I like the adorable expressions on everyone's face, the interesting character Dynamics between each couples and just the art itself is incredible. I love how you started at the top where the slightly weakest character on both sides can barely lift anything to transitioning all the way down the bottom where the Ramona ship dynamic is still effortlessly the same Lol

Oh that's cute how the counterpart couples are having silent competitions to see whose couple is the most supreme. I wonder if Mona Lisa is equally strong enough to not even need to hold raph up with both arms. It's always cute to see Raph and his counterpart being held up by their alien bf/gf

Cool kind of like sibling rivalry and you'd be surprised how small things can actually be pretty strong I mean look at the strength of ants for example and following that killer military workout can do wonders for your body I'm assuming although I guess that logic can't be the same for human-sized creatures like Mona and Raph but it's still fun to think about xD
