Just a very pink colored drawing of the sketch I made for Leorai Week a couple of weeks back. I felt like coloring something today.The 80's and 2003 turtles dressed up all the time... I'd love to see the 2012 turtles blend in among humans too -their large feet would be a problem though.
Anyway have Leo and Karai going into a club.

Haha I really like this idea! I think it's interesting that 2k12 is almost the only incarnation of TMNT where the turtles haven't at some point put on human clothes to avoid being noticed in public. (I think you're right, it's the design they went with for their feet, plus I think re-doing the CGI models to add the clothes would be too much of a pain for the animators...)
But I can totally see Karai dragging Leo to a club, in an AU-kind of setting where things turned out differently... Leo's hoodie cracks me up. Oh man. So much. So much. (He would totally wear something like that! Hahaha. He's such an anime dork.)
I like Karai's shirt too. It's something that would make Leo roll his eyes but secretly he'd be pleased that she's thinking of him. XD And I love that you put "Dating" at the bottom in quotation marks. Like, yeah, sure this is dating. And not Karai just doing something crazy cuz she's totally bored. XD

I've actually thought about what if Donnie makes holograms? Like Nightcrawler's hologram in X-Men Evolution.
Man, so many issues could be solved, and so many more compromising situations could arise, from having holograms.

(It has to do with the drawing cause Leo is hiding his turtleness, and in the description you mention the turtles blending in with the humans.)

In X-Men Evolution, Kurt has a watch that projects a hologram of him as a normal kid, without his fur, tail, and missing fingers.
Something tells me that Donnie has the brains to build such contraptions, too, if given the right technology.
