So, since a few people asked me to do a tutorial on how to draw Predator/Yautja faces... I did.Well, okay... I tried.
Look, guys, I'm a sucky teacher, so this is the best I can do. I'm no good at making tutorials.
Ergo: If this sucky thing doesn't help you, then I can tell you only this - just start studying the Preddy faces from the movies and the comics. That's what I did and how I learned to draw them.

i have a question well it is more of a tip how do you draw dreds cause mine need improving

I don't really know how you could improve that. I just kinda do it. I draw them like hair, just kinda thicker, I guess.

This is actually very VERY useful lol. Some people have tried to explain it and show me how they do it, but it never made much sense. XD yours has colored lines so that's helpful to a noob like me.

huh. i never thought about using that method. the human face first part. i just draw the eyes first, then the dark sockets and i work my way from that. im surprised dvds still work I was watching and rewinding scenes over and over again just WATCHING the predators faces move. that makes me sound like such a creep ( or a predaphile. HA ) but that helps. glad to see you think so too

I'm usually using a very rough sketch of a human face as first layer. I can work without it too but I think it's easier if you have that form to hold on to.

I don't really think my way is the best way to learn how to draw a Predator. Mine always look like softies, they'd die immediately in a real Predator's world.

pretty stuff is a pretty important too!
i always figure out draw predator in other way.. so you could see so many predator in so many type of drawings in my predator gallery!

"Rudey" (which my personal charater) have its own face proportion.. and with the help of yer "Sucky tutorial" which not suck at all, finally i make the right drawing for predatorish rudey.. my fisrt psychobillly predator is sucks [link]

Well, I'm glad my tutorial did help some folks after all, including you.
And I don't think your first psychobilly Pred sucked. The newer Rudey does look more like your character since you've taken his actual face as base but I really don't think the old version is bad for that matter.

Ich habe... *gives up* I've been learnig it for..4 years... (Or school has forced me to learn a foreign language, and I choose german) And I must say, your grammar eats my brain. And I've forgotten about 80% of what I learned XD I'm more of a physics/math/biology type of person, so languages really kill me XD
