Just for visual effect, I'm pretty sure the Martell colors are red but it's quite possible for other liege houses to have different colors in their flags.

I have too much portrait classic school and too little patience, I must have more live drawing and perspective. I love how fresh your work is, very dinamic.

Indeed, gesture drawing helped me a lot, made me capable of drawing more dynamic figures and without the constant use of references, that was a huge deal. Starting with sketched silhouettes rather than rendering details from the start, that kind of stuff.

Watch everything on the FZD school of design youtube channel, Feng gives amazing info and inspiration. Probably the best thing on digital painting you'll find on the internet.

Thank you and not really, just based of George Martin's Novels. It's the motto of one of the factions. Perhaps the author made a reference to the band, I'm not sure.

Nah, The band did a whole album influenced of The first book of George Martins book Game of thrones, and they wrote their songs after things that happens in the book
