Description
This is the forth painting of the "DATA" project.
In this piece there are a couple of figures placed in font of a cave type environment. In the upper part of the composition an elderly mans head is emerging from the texture of the cave, a couple leaves are emerging in the center and in the lower part there are four stylized figures of children. The elderly figure represents knowledge and life experience which is being transferred onto the children, or the youth. The figures of the children represent the spirit of youth and they are placed in an evolutionary order, becoming more complex if we were to look at them from left to right. The idea is to make a composition with a tribal feel to it where the human species is connected with nature transferring information through their DNA in a harmonical composition where you can feel the collective spirit. There are some subtle elements of cave art to add to the mood and to show a layered display of the evolution of the figures in the composition.
