For the first time, I wanted to share a complete sketch of an upcoming deviation, and one of 10 new pieces I'm working on for a brand new batch. Here we have Inspector Gadget, Penny, and Brain, falling from the sky, so Gadget had to pull out some extra limbs to catch them as they try to avoid hitting terra-firma. I was having a lot of trouble just drawing some portraits of each of them, which is weird, because drawing a more complex scene with them all has actually been incredibly easy. Could not tell you why. lol

I also thought it might be interesting to post this since I've never shown my current process before. The colors aren't related to specific objects, they're actually used to differentiate shapes within z-space. If something I draw sits in front of something else within space, I chose an alternate color so that I can see what I'm drawing in order to draw the lines correctly and include the right details. If I drew it all in the same color, it would start to get muddy in the areas with too many shapes. I also use dozens of layers, especially for faces, meaning any color in any area here could have up to 3 layers each.

A few other pieces under way include 2 introductory pieces featuring my OC Tiffany in her new costume and new day-job at the retro Arcade. We also have a goofy portrait of crappy horror and animated-knockoff aficionado, Phelous; along with an exaggerated caricature of The Angry Video Game Nerd in a classic scene from his early days. I could share more, but I don't want to get ahead of myself in case the rest don't pan out.

It'll likely be another few weeks before this and the other artworks get released, so it'll take a bit. But since I hadn't posted anything other than my 3D promo poster in over 2 months, I ought to give ya'll a teaser for what's to come. So don't you worry, I'm still here, and I'm still having tons of fun making art.
