This brush set was created with the intention of
creating a varied Gimp set that can replace the current default
one.
According to the developers however, for various reasons,
the current default cannot be completely eliminated, but users
can still install this one alongside it.

Oh, it's VERY possible to delete the original default set..... somehow, while trying to install new brushes, I managed it. And now I am forever brush-less.

They told you you couldn't replace the defaults? I saw a pack somewhere of the defaults in case you accidently removed them.
